Leicester Salaah Times is an Islamic prayer times app for the Leicester community. It shows accurate Begin and Jama'ah times for masaajid across Leicester, with prayer reminders, Qiblah direction, monthly timetables, Jumu'ah listings and more.
Prayer times are published by each masjid directly — we do not calculate or estimate times. If a time looks incorrect, please contact the masjid concerned and let us know so we can look into it.
All times displayed in the app are uploaded by the masjid itself. If a time looks incorrect, please contact your masjid directly, or email us at inbox@leicestersalaahtimes.com and we will follow up with them.
Open the app, go to the Masaajid tab, and tap the masjid you would like to follow. The home screen will update to show its times.
Go to Settings within the app and tap Notifications. You can enable or disable reminders for each prayer individually, and choose how many minutes before the Jama'ah you would like to be reminded.
Please check that notifications are enabled for Leicester Salaah Times in your device's Settings app (Settings → Notifications → Leicester Salaah Times on iOS). Also check that Do Not Disturb or Focus modes are not silencing them, and that you have selected a masjid inside the app.
Go to Settings within the app and use the Font Size control. You can also adjust your device's system text size and the app will follow it.
Please check your internet connection and try again. If the problem persists, force-close the app and reopen it. If it still doesn't load, please email us with your device model and a brief description and we will investigate.
Location is used only for the Qiblah direction feature and to show your distance to the selected masjid. It is processed entirely on your device and is never sent to our servers. The app works fully without location permission.

If your masjid is based in Leicester and would like to be listed, please email inbox@leicestersalaahtimes.com with the masjid name, address and a contact for the imam or committee. We will get in touch to set them up.
On iOS, press and hold the app icon and tap Remove App. On Android, press and hold the app icon and tap Uninstall. All locally stored preferences are removed when you uninstall.
